DEFINICION INDUSTRIA TEXTIL
Industria textil es el sector de la economía dedicado a la producción de ropa, tela, hilo, fibra y productos relacionados, en las estadísticas económicas se suele incluir la industria del calzado como parte de la industria textil.
La industria textil genera gran cantidad de empleos directos e indirectos, tiene un peso importante en la economía mundial. Es uno de los sectores industriales que más controversias genera, especialmente en la definición de tratados comerciales internacionales.
